Jets Former Running Back, Zac Stacy, Accused of Beating His Ex-Girlfriend

Former Jets running back, Zac Stacy, has been accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend at the woman’s Florida home on Saturday, reports state.

Zac Stacy, 30, who was the fifth round draft pick in 2013, allegedly punched his ex-girlfriend in the head before throwing her across the room into the TV, TMZ reports, citing sources and court documents.

In a clip obtained by TMZ, There was a camera mounted in the corner of the woman’s home, in what appears to be her living room, that recorded the entire debacle. The media is circulating just the clip of the attack as it seems that the ex-couple had been arguing prior to. 

Throughout the brutal assault, their 5-month-old son can be seen just a few feet away on the couch witnessing the attack as it unfolds. After the ex-girlfriend is thrown into the TV, she falls to the floor. She then pleads for Stacy to stop. He then towers over her and sternly says, “You thought that was okay? And then [going to] ruin a relationship, and talk about i’m destructive?” He then proceeds to grab her off the floor and “bodyslam” her into their son’s bouncy seat.

“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” The woman states in a restraining order document obtained by TMZ.

Subsequent to the attack, the ex-girlfriend called the police which led Stacy to flee the premises.

“I fear for my life and children’s life,” she further expressed on the restraining order application.

She also stated that she was hospitalized after the attack and with bumps. bruises, and a possible cut to the head.

Stacy’s last stint as an active player in the NFL was with the New York Jets. Prior, he played two seasons for the St. Louis Rams.

As of now, it is immediately unclear if a judge has granted her the restraining order against Stacy.
