LeBron gets hit

The Dillon-LeBron feud is far from over as Dillon Brooks strikes LeBron across the face. The feud between the two basketball players has been ongoing for about a year. Monday’s game between the Lakers and Rockets gave fans another look into the most recent brawl.

What started as Brooks taunting James became more serious when Dillon struck the star across the face. Fans were relieved to see James get up after being on the floor for several minutes.
Brooks’ hostilities didn’t end there. Earlier in the game, he shoved Jarred Vanderbilt, provoking Vanderbilt to retaliate a few plays later. This resulted in the Vanderbilt getting ejected.

“I mean, you take a hard foul. That’s part of basketball, but you are just not going to blatantly push someone in their back when they have no control of their body and they are in the air. And he [Brooks] should have gotten ejected for that. And then you know him and Bron have their [collision] and from what I saw, it was just a blatant hit to Lebron to his face,” said Lakers player Anthony Davis.

Other individuals shared the player’s sentiments.

“I believe you can play hard without playing dirty…he [Brooks] just does a lot of things that are unnecessary…you know sometimes people say well that’s his style of play. That ain’t no style play, bro, you going to hurt somebody out there. You can’t convince me that’s basketball because I believe you can play tough physically without being dirty and I believe he [Brooks] is a dirty player,” says Shannon Sharpe, former American football player and commentator.
