Lehman Center for the Performing Arts to Host An Enchanted Evening With Kerry Washington

Scandal star Kerry Washington is hosting a very special event in honor of Lehman Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, June 14. An Enchanted Evening With Kerry Washington kicks off at 6:30pm with a reception in the Lehman Center Lobby. Popular Pan-Latin restaurant Babalu and its executive celebrity chef Alex Garcia will be providing a tasty selection of hors d’oeuvres, desserts and wines until 7:45pm, at which time guests will be directed into the performance hall for a once-in-a-lifetime, star-studded event from 8pm until 9pm. Among the night’s featured performers are Washington’s Scandal co-star Norm Lewis, whose star turn in The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess earned him a Tony nomination, and Carlyle Hotel favorites The Chris Gillespie Trio. As Andrea Rockower, member of the Lemhan Center for the Performing Arts Board of Directors said, “With delicious food, Hollywood and Broadway celebrities, and elegant music, it will surely be an evening to remember!” Tickets cost $125 and are available online at www.lehmancenter.org, by phone at 718-960-8833 or in person at the Lehman Center box office.
