Scandal star Kerry Washington is hosting a very special event in honor of Lehman Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, June 14. An Enchanted Evening With Kerry Washington kicks off at 6:30pm with a reception in the Lehman Center Lobby. Popular Pan-Latin restaurant Babalu and its executive celebrity chef Alex Garcia will be providing a tasty selection of hors d’oeuvres, desserts and wines until 7:45pm, at which time guests will be directed into the performance hall for a once-in-a-lifetime, star-studded event from 8pm until 9pm. Among the night’s featured performers are Washington’s Scandal co-star Norm Lewis, whose star turn in The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess earned him a Tony nomination, and Carlyle Hotel favorites The Chris Gillespie Trio.
