Mario Dedivanocia is an amazing and talented makeup artist based in New York City, but it all started in the Bronx. Mario was the youngest of four, and his parents were immigrants from Montenegro. After graduating high school Mario and his mother went to Manhattan, and he soon found a retail job working at Sephora as a fragrance consultant.

Mario found his love for makeup working at Sephora and soon realized it on his first day when a woman asked for help picking out a lipstick shade. A little bit later, Mario was hired on by two singers to do their makeup for a cabaret show. He was only 17 then and didn’t have a formal makeup kit, so he took a shoe box and filled it with products from Sephora and did the job for only 25$. This is what drove the rest of Mario’s career. Now today, he does make up for top celebrities such as the Kardashians and top models and has his very own makeup line, “Makeup by Mario.”
