Back on July 4th of this year the grandson of our Washington DC leaders Devon Thomas McNeil, age 11, was shot and killed in the crossfire of thugs. All have since been arrested and await prosecution.
John and Wanda Ayala have turned this horrible tragedy into a campaign to help young people in SE Washington DC. They started a toy drive for the children and went from complex to complex giving out toys and playing games with the children. The NYC Guardian Angels traveled to D.C. to help the Guardian Angels in this toy giveaway. It’s what we do each and every day. Fight crime and win the hearts and minds of the kids to keep them away from gangs and drugs. This year the Guardian Angels dedicate our Christmas to the memory of Devon Thomas McNeil.
