Last February after the Chinese Lunar New Year in Chinatown we noticed that there were a number of attacks against Asians by teenage thugs or emotionally disturbed people. They all usually had the same MO – they were blaming their victims for the coronavirus. These assaults took place in the streets and the subways of New York City. The elected officials paid little attention and the problems continued throughout the summer. Now as the second wave of coronavirus is hitting NYC we see the same pattern emerging. In this case it is a gang of thugs who must be stopped. The NYC Guardian Angels are patrolling the streets and subways of Chinatown to help catch these 6 suspects and prevent any further attacks. Along the way we are recruiting more Asians as Guardian Angels who say “enough is enough.”

A group of attackers pummeled a woman and spewed anti-Asian statements because she wasn’t wearing a mask on a Manhattan train last week Thursday. The 32-year-old woman was riding an A train at the West 4th Street station around 1:45 p.m. Dec. 17, when three men and three women started arguing with her because she didn’t have a face covering. “She’s Chinese,” they said, according to cops. “She’s got the coronavirus.” The confrontation turned violent when the group punched the victim multiple times in the face, before taking off.
One of the attackers was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and a red mask and another, with long braided hair, was last seen wearing a black jacket and a turtleneck sweater.
