Prodigy Reflects

After spending a three year bid for a weapons charge, Prodigy of Mobb Deep explained in an interview with Monique that he used the time to reflect on his life and change his ways. “I’m sitting there and I realized that I got my career taken from me, my family, everything stripped of me, and I’m just like wow, I put myself in this position, I can’t even blame somebody else,” said Prodigy. On top having spent time in prison, Prodigy also suffers from Sickle Cell, which made the rapper realize that he needed to “get his priorities straight”. Prodigy recently came out with a book entitled My Infamous Life, in which he touches on everything from family to business. To those who read the book, he encourages them to make smarter decisions and to live wisely.
