Step aside, Kim Kardashian! 40 year old Columbian born star of Emmy winning sitcom Modern Family, Sofia Vergara has been named by Forbes as the top earning actress on American television. Over the last year, Sofia has earned an estimated $19 million from her work on Modern Family and appearances in movies such as “The Smurfs,” “New Year’s Eve” and “The Three Stooges.” In addition to that, she has numerous endorsements, including Cover Girl and Pepsi in English, and Burger King, Comcast and State Farm in Spanish, as well as a clothing line in Kmart. Also, 16 years ago she founded a marketing/production company called Latin World Entertainment which claimed revenue of $27 million in 2011.
Kim Kardashian came in not so far behind at $18 million. The rest of the top fives was: Eva Longoria at $15 million, Bethenny Frankel at $12 million, and tied for fifth, Khloe Kardashian Odom and Tina Fey at $11 million.
