On Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors announced they signed former Milwaukee forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. to his rookie-scale contract. Baldwin averaged about 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists just last season and is the 28th pick in the NBA draft. He played his best game of the season in his debut after scoring a double-double on November 9 with 21 points and ten rebounds.

The Celtics took the final game Sunday evening 100 – 96 with Jayson Tatum of the Celtics leading his team with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. Marcus Smart’s efforts were equally impressive with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jaylen Brown also scored 24 points, with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

The NBA postseason has focused on four contenders hungry for the 2022 title. Miami Heat has become the first team to advance to the Eastern Conference finals, beating the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday to their semifinal series 4-2. According to ESPN, “The third-seeded Golden State Warriors took care of business on Friday in the Western Conference semifinals, beating the Memphis Grizzlies 4-2 for the series win.”

The 2022 NBA playoff has officially kicked off and is in full swing while the second round continues into Wednesday night. As of now, the Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies have both won at-home games on Tuesday night which even things out between the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors.
