Sexy, funny, and touching – these are the words that describe the impacting performance of Vivienne Truong in the well-respected play, Vietgone. Written by Qui Nguyen, Vietgone tells the story of two Vietnamese refugees who meet at a refugee camp in Arkansas during the fall of Saigon. Truong is casted into multiple characters, including the writer himself who narrates the passage of the story.

Tiktok Used to Find Missing People Online
On December 12th, Lauren Smith-Fields was found dead in her apartment. Her friends and family resorted to the police earlier to find Lauren, but the urgency was of no luck. They turned to Tiktok where they were able to spread the word about Lauren. Lauren would be turning 22 in the following month and her fellow friends have planned the celebration, looking back at the good old times they had in high school.
Team USA Wins First Silver Medal in Figure Skating
For the first time ever, the United States won their first silver medal in figure skating at the Beijing Winter Olympics. In the Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018 Games, they had only won bronze. The U.S. Team consisted of Karen Chen, Nathan Chen, Vincent Zhou, Alexa Knierim, Brandon Frazier, Madison Chock, Evan Bates, Madison Hubbell, and Zachary Donohue. Russia gained 74 points, the U.S. received 65 points, and Japan gained 63 points. For Olympics Day 3, there was pairs’ free skate, free dance, and women’s free skate. The spotlight of skating is Karen Chen. During the performance, she wore a purple free skate costume made by her mother. The little gemstones collect into the shape of the butterfly.
