The National Park Service reports that a southern California man who was visiting Death Valley National Park was found dead on Tuesday after his car ran out of gas. A park ranger reported to have noticed a car at Zabriskie Point – a popular sunset viewing location – and later reported to see the same car in the lot three days later. The National Park Service released a statement on Wednesday saying that David Kelleher, 67, ran out of gas, parked his car and began walking.
