Nike Officially Ends Partnership with Kyrie Irving
Nike has ended its eight-year commercial partnership and shoe deal with NBA star Kyrie Irving after the Brooklyn Nets player shared a link to an antisemitic film on Twitter. The move comes one month after Irving was suspended by Nike over a Tweet he shared in October. According to Irving’s agent, Shetellia Riley Irving, “both Nike and Kyrie mutually decided to part ways”, adding that they wished Nike “nothing but the best in their future endeavors.”
