The Turnaround

Directed by James Hunter and Amanda Marquis. The 6 times nominated and 2-time award-winning The Turnaround is a movie about a young man name Marquise, who is raised by his Godmother Debra after losing both of his parents as a youngster. Marquise has a God-given writing ability that he overlooks due to hard times. It’s because of these hard times that he finds himself torn between a life of crime with his cousin D-Rock, or living a Godly life, which includes his following his writing ambitions. He ends up getting pulled in two different directions. Ultimately, a tragic event lands him in a dangerous position where he is forced to choose between right and wrong.
