How Jean-Paul Lebosnoy Is a Bright Spot for The UFC

The UFC is in need of more fresh, enticing talents. Thanks to the legendary Dana White, the “Contender” series showcased a plethora of contestants awaiting the spotlight. Amidst the dimes, there was one that shined the brightest.

Recently, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas: Jean-Paul Lebosnoy faced Boston’s very own, Jack Congdon. Tempers flaring and spectators staring. This was only the first round but had a lot of stakes due to the winner getting a chance to sign an Ultimate Fighting Championship contract.

Mind you, this was only Week 4 of the “Contender” so clearly the tension in the room heightened. And it definitely delivered on those fronts because Jean-Paul Lebosnoy proved victorious in the Welterweight class division

The match ended with Jean-Paul’s perfectly timed head kick behind a jab. Congdon was out on his feet and frozen in time before his adversary connected with an overhand right that resulted in his nosedive to the floor.

Jean-Paul Lebosnoy was able to attain a contract. He short circuited his opponent in 68 seconds in the 1st round. Talk about a cold blooded mentality he has, no wonder they call him Mufasa.

Dana White approves of Jean-Paul’s performance that night. There are clips of him looking amazed at Jean-Paul’s KO kick to Congdon. Hopefully, Jean-Paul Lebosnoy will get more opportunities for people to find out why he’s called “Mufasa”.

Truly, his time will come.
