Bobbi Brown is an American professional make-up artist. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Brown began her career after graduating from Emerson College in Boston with a degree in theatrical makeup and photography, working in New York City. Brown started as a freelance makeup artist, focusing on a makeup style that used more natural tones, which was a contrast to the popular style at the time.

Ten years later, Brown and her husband launched Bobbi Brown Essentials alongside ten natural lipstick shades she developed with a chemist. Brown continued with the company until December 2016, when she left to launch Beauty Evolution LLC. Brown continued to participate in the beauty Industry, launching more beauty lines like the clean beauty brand Jones Road in 2020. In 2025, Time Magazine featured Brown on its 100 Most Influential People list of that year.
