Hung Vanngo is a Vietnamese-Canadian makeup artist. Originally born in Vietnam, he was raised in Calgary, Canada, where he developed an interest in painting, sketching, and fashion. After graduating high school, Vanngo would study hair and makeup at Marvel College before moving to Toronto to further his career after previously working as a hairdresser. 

Then Vanngo would move to New York City in 2006 to pursue his makeup career full-time. Vanngo became known as a celebrity makeup artist and for his signature look that was both glamorous and natural. He’s worked with many high-profile celebrities and is a frequent artist for stars like Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway, and Bella Hadid.

Vanngo has worked with popular magazines in the US, Canada, and Europe, including Allure, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Surface, Elle, Fashion, Flare, and on over 500 magazine covers between Vogue, Allure, and Harper’s Bazaar.  He’s also worked with notable fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Dsquared, Lancôme, L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Calvin Klein, Max Mara, and Victoria’s Secret, and even his own titular beauty brand Hung Vanngo Beauty.
