Is anyone else’s feed on social media filled with sporting and exercising videos, or is that just me? Because it appears that everyday, when I open Instagram, I am hit with video after video that often record and document them exercising to get their “ideal body”. But something just appears insincere.
Instead of actually focusing on their daily workouts, many of these videos rather showcase the exercise gear and equipment. And boy, is it a lot. Stanley cups, Lululemon apparel, Apple Watches, and Lululemon water bottles are some of the many workout gear and equipment featured in these videos. And that is where the insincerity lies.
Stanley cups typically range from $25 to $75, depending on the size and where one purchases the item. Similarly, Lululemon water bottles range from $25 to $58, depending on the size and design.
And while I am discussing Lululemon, let’s discuss the high prices of Lululemon. For some simple workout clothes, prices can range from $68 to over $100, depending on the size and design of the clothing. As for Apple Watches to track one’s heart rate, steps, and biometrics, prices can range from $200 to over $ 1,000. Just wow.
But these things are not needed! Wearing a pair of sweats and a T-shirt while running in the park or working out in the gym can also help achieve one’s “ideal body”. Or even help to get one active and moving.
