Pride Month Events in NYC for Kids and Families 2026

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the diversity of LGBTQIA+ communities and recognize the ongoing pursuit of equality and inclusion. Pride Month 2026 in NYC is packed with celebrations, educational programs, community gatherings, and advocacy events throughout the five boroughs.

The Bronx LGBTQ+ organization “Destination Tomorrow” will host da Bronx Pride Festival on Saturday, June 20th. It will be a day of live music, food, and community centered at the Westchester Avenue, which is between Brook and Bergen Avenues, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Youth Pride on Saturday, June 27th, will be hosted at Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport. Youth Pride will welcome LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies for an afternoon of live performances, activities, and community celebration.

Harlem Pride, which is a vibrant uptown celebration that will feature local vendors, artists, performers, and community organizations centered at 12th Avenue between West 130th and 132nd streets, will be on Saturday, June 27th, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

PrideFest will be held on Sunday, June 28th, for the nation’s largest LGBTQIA+ street fair and will take place along Fourth Avenue between 14th and Eighth Streets in Manhattan between 11 a.m and 6 p.m. It will feature performances, food vendors, community organizations, and local businesses.

Queer Liberation March, which is organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition, will be on Sunday, June 28th. This alternative grassroots march will gather at 2:30 p.m. and step out at 3 pm from Union Square West to Washington Square Park.

The 57th NYC Pride March kicks off at 12 pm from 26th Street to 5th Avenue in Manhattan, passing the historic Stonewall Inn, before concluding near 15th Street and Seventh Avenue.

New York City’s public libraries are celebrating Pride Month at the Brooklyn, New York, and Queens Public Library sites. Check out the family-friendly events, including film screenings, arts and craft sessions, book clubs, and more, happening all month long.
