Officially reaching the status on June 12, 2026, Musk’s trillionaire status was formally achieved after his involvement with SpaceX. The rocket, satellite, and AI company’s debut on the stock market made Musk the first person with a net worth of more than $1tn.”
However, Musk’s trillionaire status, once celebrated, has now been lost, following a significant loss of funds. Following a global stock market selloff, Musk’s wealth was negatively impacted, dwindling his wealth and funds substantially. As reported by The Guardian, “A global stock selloff this week led to sharp declines for major tech stocks and dealt a blow to Musk’s wealth…” With this change and shift, Musk now stands as a billionaire as of June 24, 2026.
And no tears will be shed in this revelation. Not by the average American.
Musk is left as a billionaire? Oh no! However, will he survive with his mansion, private aircraft, and cars? How sad.
Meanwhile, the average American is living paycheck to paycheck in this corrupt economy. Where he is left with a net worth of “$970.2bn”, many people are debating whether to pay for rent or groceries. In a world where many people are struggling to pay for gas, food, and rent, I do not think losing status as a trillionaire is that difficult.
