NYC’s Pride March began as an annual demonstration honoring the 1969 Stonewall Riots and has evolved into a powerful global symbol of LGBTQIA+ resilience, unity, and activism.
Before the march and fest begin, you can attend the brunch on June 20th at 11:00 AM at Stella 34 Trattoria, which is located on the 6th floor of the flagship Macy’s Herald Square location. The annual fundraising events feature delicious food, cocktails, and jaw-dropping performances by NYC’s top drag artists and an assortment of silent auction and raffle prizes.
The youth Pride event will also be on June 27th at 11 AM – 6 PM at Pier 16 South Street Seaport. The carnival-style celebration features exciting carnival activations, live entertainment, talented DJs, free drinks and snacks, and more.
This year, the march will be on June 28th at 12 PM, starting at 26th St and 5th Ave. It will disperse at 15th St and 7th Ave. It will be filling the streets of Manhattan with a historic demonstration of advocacy, celebration, and community strength to honor the trailblazers and stand united in the fight for global equality.
Joining the Ranks of honor this year are Grand marshals, Dominque Jackson, who has never strayed from the fight for LGBTQIA+, she formed the Bronx-based trans-funded nonprofit Destination Tomorrow., Peppermint, who rose to fame as the first out trans contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race, she recently made history as the first out trans woman to originate a principal role in a musical. Bernie Wagenblast, who is a former radio personality and one of the most recognizable voices in our transit system, has an impact that stretches far beyond her voiceover work.
Bowen Yang, who became a household name as the first Chinese-American cast member on Saturday Night Live in 2019, helped usher in an era of authentic queer humans in mainstream media. And lastly, the Gays Against Guns, which is a direct-action group of LGBTQIA+ people nonviolently challenging gun violence.. They were nominated by the community and allies the Grand Marshals were selected to celebrate the uplift of their meaningful impact on the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality.
Our Grand Marshals have blazed trails and open doors in entertainment, media, and advocacy,” said Lynde, who is the new Executive Director this year for NYC Pride.
Afterwards will be the PrideFest, where the queer community, families, community leaders, small businesses, nonprofits, and top-tier talent from around the world come together for the largest LGBTQA+ Street festival in the U.S.

Sample an electric mix of local bites and flavors at FoodFest. See iconic artists perform in the spotlight at StageFest. Lastly, they have access to queer-affirming support at WellnessFest.
At the march will also be the NYC Pride Grandstand experience. This is a premium ticketed section situated in the heart of the celebration. It offers VIP amenities including comfortable stadium-style seating, private restrooms, complimentary food and beverages, and exclusive live entertainment.
This year, you can also purchase a ticket that includes the ability to join the Audience Pit, where you’ll be front-and-center for the joyous spectacle and live performances during the WABC-7 live broadcast of the Pride March. The tickets cost $53-$235.88.
