There are athletes out there who train hard, get better, and help win for their team because they are dedicated to helping their team. Then there are the people who use steroids or other means to cheat to get better at the sport and they have to cheat to win anything.
Athletes that cheat, when they are caught, usually it’s on the news and people lose respect for that athlete and they lose reputation. But what about their records that they made, like most baskets, or dunks or homeruns or whatever else. Should they lose those too?
If they cheated then they don’t deserve those wins because they didn’t get them fairly. All those athletes who work hard and do their best and still can’t get any world records or make their stats compete with the cheaters. The ones who cheat should get banned from sports, maybe even arrested, because they cheated to get their stats and reputation, which is unfair to the people doing the real work.
If someone like Shaq, Micheal Jackson, Babe Ruth, or someone as famous as them was using it, it would be all over the news. But there are some people who are not even major leagues and are just students in high school or college and if they got scouted even though they were using pills or other illegal means that’s not fair to the ones training hard and doing their very best to get scouted.
However, if the child athlete is being made by their parents to use them and they don’t want to then their parents should take the blame because they are forcing their children to do something they don’t want to do.
The world needs good athletes not cheaters, if you have to cheat then you don’t deserve recognition.
