A tense relationship with the UK tabloids combined with the desire to raise their one-year-old son Archie away from the spotlight brought them to the decision to split their time between North America and the UK, as well as to work toward being financially independent.
On Friday, December 11th, a controversial piece by journalist Joseph Epstein was published in The Wall Street Journal. The piece centered on soon to be first lady Dr. Jill Biden, in which Epstein essentially mocked and diminished her credentials, urging her to drop the prefix “Dr.” from her name.
Pro-Trump rallies took place this past Saturday, December 12th, in Washington, DC, as well as in other small towns across the country. Among those in attendance at the rally in DC were the notorious Proud Boys, a neo-fascist, white supremacist group who support Trump’s efforts to overturn the election results.
On the morning of Sunday, December 13th, the first shipments of the much anticipated and FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine departed from Pfizer’s facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The shipments are on the way to distribution centers across all 50 states via UPS and FedEx, and were scheduled to arrive the morning of Monday, December 14th, at 10:30 AM.

Chuck Yeager, American test pilot and first person to break the sound barrier, passed away on December 7th in a Los Angeles hospital. Yeager, who was 97 years old, first became recognizable to the American public after the publishing of Tom Wolfe’s 1979 non-fiction novel, The Right Stuff.
For most of us, the 2020 holiday season unfortunately looks a little different than it did in past years, and movie nights at home have grown in popularity since the beginning of the pandemic. Luckily for eager viewers, the holiday season is now upon us, which means new festive and cheer-filled holiday movies are starting to arrive on nearly every streaming platform.
