Calvin Harris Announces New Song ‘Stay With Me’ Featuring Halsey, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell

Last Wednesday, DJ and producer Calvin Harris took to Twitter to announce a collaboration with music big stars Halsey, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell. The collaboration will be part of Harris’ forthcoming Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 as part of the album’s third single, Stay With Me. According to Harris’ announcement, the song is ready to launch next Friday, July 15.

Harris also announced the slew of other artists that are set to feature on his upcoming album including Stefflon Don, Chloe Bailey, Charlie Puth, Pusha T, Shenseea, Tinashe, Normani, Lil Durk, Offset, 6lack, Coi LeRay, Busta Rhymes, Latto, Swae Lee, Jorja Smith, and Snoop Dogg, per Billboard. As for Halsey, Timberlake, and Pharrel, it is the first time ever that these stars will share a stage together, although Timberlake and Pharrel have joined their talents on more than one occasion. 

Meanwhile, Stay With Me comes number 3 on the album. The first two singles are New Money featuring 21 Savage which came out on July 1 and Potion with Dua Lipa which dropped at the end of May. The full album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 will be out on August 5. The producer came out with his first album in 2017 I Created Disco and got a load of famous people on its list including Katy Perry, Migos, Frank Ocean, Young Thug, Ariana Grande, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, and also Pharrell again.

St the announcement, other musicians shared their excitement in the comment section. Jonas Blue wrote, “Jesus, what a lineup! Can’t wait,” while Ryan Tedder from One Republic joked, “BRO. The LEAST u could do is get FAMOUS FEATURES. Aim higher bro fr,” along with some launching emojis.

Harris, who is no stranger to intrepid collaborations, teased a video flaunting the list of iconic artists that will be featured on his new album. In addition to the three musical giants collaborating on the single, the list includes Stefflon Don, Chloe Bailey, Charlie Puth, Pusha T, Shenseea, Tinashe, Normani, Lil Durk, Offset, 6lack, Coi LeRay, Busta Rhymes, Latto, Swae Lee, Jorja Smith, and Snoop Dogg.
