CLANN is the musical project of Montreal artist and filmmaker Sebastian McKinnon. The sound CLANN began as the musical component to the larger “KIN Fables” multimedia project, a collaboration between McKinnon and his brother Benjamin, which released a trilogy of short films from 2013 to 2015 on Vimeo and YouTube. The first installment went on to win the Best Cinematography award at the 2013 Fantasia International Film Festival.

Featuring the ethereal vocals of Charlotte Loseth (better known as Sea Oleena), and accompanying strings of French violinist Chloe Picard, CLANN first released the packaged KIN Fables soundtrack independently on Bandcamp.

In 2017, CLANN released the 10-song album “Seelie,” a continuation of the KIN Fables project accompanied by a tease of an eventual feature film, and in August of this year revealed new single “Arise.”
