Dexter Isaac Confesses Involvement in '94 Robbery of Tupac

On the eve of Tupac’s 40th birthday, Dexter Isaac, a former friend of James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, came forward and confessed to his involvement in the November 30th, 1994 robbery of Tupac Shakur. Issac told AllHipHop.com that he decided to confess in order to prove Jimmy Henchman’s involvement, who is currently on the run from federal officials for alleged involvement in a cocaine distribution operation. Although Issac confessed his involvement, the statute of limitations had expired thus no legal prosecution can take place for the assault at this time. Issac’s confession was also in response to Jimmy’s claim that he was helping the government investigate his alleged drug crimes. Issac claimed that he has never been a “rat” of any sort and from a moral standpoint also stated, “I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]. I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie’s] mothers some closure.” Issac claims that he was paid $2,500 by Jimmy for the crime and was also allowed to keep the jewelry stolen from Shakur that night. The rapper’s chain is still in Issac’s possession to this day. Isaac was sentenced to life in prison in 1998 for murder, robbery, fraud and witness intimidation charges. What do you think of this confession? Do you believe him?
