"New" Artist of the Month for September 2026
Elizabeth Camille Langley is an American country music singer-songwriter. Born in Hope Hull, Alabama, Langley developed a talent for music during her early years, singing in local Southern Baptist churches and other informal events throughout her community. As Langley grew, she learned guitar and continued performing into her teens at school events and other local venues until her high school graduation. Langley co-wrote her first song, “Clear the Clouds”, with her aunt and released it on YouTube in 2017. Her debut single, “Perfect”, was released a year She continued to perform in live venues, moving to Nashville shortly thereafter to network and build on her songwriting skills. Eventually, when the Pandemic rolled around, Langley focused on boosting her online presence, which helped when she signed on with Sony Music Publishing Nashville in 2021 and released the song “If You Have To” later that same year.
Langley’s debut EP would be released in 2023. During that time, she would collaborate with several other artists, including Koe Wetzel, Elle King, Runaway June, Kameron Marlowe, and more. A year later, Langley would release her 2024 debut studio album Hungover, which launched at number 77 and number 11 on Billboard’s 200 and Top Country Albums chart, respectively. Langley’s second studio album, Dandelion, was delayed to an April 2026 release and debuted at the number one spot on the US Billboard 200. This album would mark several milestones, including the largest streaming debut for an album of new country material by a female country primary artist, and making her the first female country primary artist in history to occupy the top 2 simultaneously.
Langley has won nine Academy of Country Music Awards, two American Music Awards, four Country Music Association Awards, and one iHeartRadio Music Award.
