Latin Artist of the Month for August 2022

Bio

Ha-Ash is a Latin pop duet created by the sisters Hanna & Ashley. Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the sisters started to sing in their early childhood, participating in local festivals. In the early 2000s, they decided to form their own duet, and they named it Ha-Ash, a play of words using the first syllables of each of their names.

They launched their first album in 2002, with the single Odio Amarte. In March 2004, they received a platinum award for 140,000 records sold, and they released their second album, Mundos Opuestos, in Puerto Rico and the USA.

In 2008, they recorded their third album, Habitación Doble, in Nashville, Tennesse. This album features their only song recorded in English, a collaboration with Brandi Carlile called Already Gone.

In their almost two decades long career, they have released five very successful studio albums and two live records. They have also collaborated with huge Latin artists like Melendi, Maluma, Río Roma, and Prince Royce.
