Harry Styles’ Gender-Neutral Beauty Brand, Here’s What We Know

Singer and songwriter Harry Styles, mostly known for his music and gender-fluid wardrobe, announced late last year, via a social media post, that he is releasing a gender-neutral beauty brand called “Pleasing.”

Styles expressed his excitement and personal touch with his brand in a press release. Styles states, “When we decided Pleasing would make beauty products, I wanted to be sure they were something I would use. I didn’t want to make products to mask people. I wanted to highlight them and make them feel beautiful.” He continues, “I don’t think being beautiful or feeling beautiful is about looking good. When people are happy and glowing, they’re radiating. And that’s what I think the products do. It’s about helping you feel beautiful.”

One of the many products near and dear to Harry Styles is nail polish. Styles is known for sporting mismatched manicures, joining a list of many male celebrities that launched nail products in recent years, including Lil Yachty, Machine Gun Kelly, and A$AP Rocky. Styles states, “It’s starting with nail polish because that was kind of the birth of what it was for. Me seeing a color on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking ‘Oh, I wanna put that on my nails.” he explained.

Styles describes the brand as a “life brand” that’s primary mission is to “find those little moments of joy and show them to people.” Currently, the vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand consist of just six products; a facial serum, an eye serum, a dual roller ball lip, and four nail polishes, with prices ranging from $20 to $75.  It also comprises apparel as well. You can also purchase a crewneck coined “The Pleasing Crewneck” that is available in limited quantities.

Why Tanning Lotion Is Better Than
    Actual Sun Tanning

I’m sure most people out there love being outside in the sun and getting tan. There’s nothing wrong with going outside to get some vitamin D! But if you love tanning and do it frequently, that’s when the issue starts to arise. Being outside in the sun too long or frequently, without any form of sun protection is dangerous. So if you want to get tan, the best thing for you to do is get some tanning lotion.

Signs That Your Makeup Products Have Gone Bad

Chances are that in your makeup drawer right now, there is no doubt at least one product that has been sitting there for at least 5 years that you still haven’t thrown out. For the higher price point of some luxury products, it makes sense that it’s harder to part with that $30 mascara after only a few months. While a lot of cosmetic items will most likely be fine to use after the expiration date, some can form bacteria more easily the longer you wait, possibly leading to infections on your skin or eyes.

Zendaya Reveals Blonde Hair on Instagram

Earlier this year, Zendaya decided to abandon her dark locks, and she went for a honey shade, which looked pretty amazing on her.
