Bio

Hozier the talented Irish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist was born in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. His journey, in the realm of music has been unique and remarkable. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in music he developed an inclination towards blues, gospel, and soul.

In 2013 Hozier made a breakthrough with his soul-stirring rock single titled “Take Me to Church,” which fearlessly tackled issues of discrimination. The song went viral. Paved the way for his self-titled debut album. This album achieved platinum certifications across 11 countries and even earned him a Grammy nomination.

Continuing on his path Hozier captivated audiences with his EP “Nina Cried Power” in 2018. Then, followed it up with his second album called “Wasteland, Baby!” in 2019. Both releases received acclaim for their themes beautifully intertwined with captivating melodies.

In 2022, Hozier released “Swan Upon Leda ” a charged protest song that sets the stage for his recently released album titled “Unreal Unearth”. This album draws inspiration from Dante’s Inferno while exploring mythology and history. Truly showcasing Hozier’s musicality and profound depth.

From his days performing with the Trinity Orchestra to conquering charts with his thought-provoking compositions and collaborations, with artists like Brandi Carlile. Hozier’s musical journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Inspired by authors such, as James Joyce and iconic musicians, like Leonard Cohen.
