Lisa is Worth the Price of Admission!

Lisa Caprara is a digital content creator and graphics producer for the Yes Network. Caprara is also a professional soccer player for the Tampa Bay Strikers. She was an on-field announcer at Steinbrenner Field during New York Yankees spring training games and during the soccer off-season is an instructor at the IMG sports academy where she teaches the finer points of soccer.

What is it that this athletic dynamo can’t do? Well, we also understand that we may be seeing Lisa on a film and off-Broadway play real soon.

Well, today she sat down with Jill Martin the wife of the late great Yankees manager Billy Martin and spoke about all facets of her life on Jill’s terrific talk show on the Chapters Network, Worth the price of admission!

Jill first met Lisa last year in Hernando County Florida where they were performing in a play called Batboy with the profits from the show going to Heat which is a program that helps the wounded military veterans. Jill told me that she was very impressed by Lisa’s high energy. Lisa played Diane Munson, the wife of the late great Yankee catcher who was killed in an airplane crash in 1979. Considering that it was her first acting job she handled the role like a seasoned professional. That’s probably why people in the arts have taken notice of her ability as an actress.

On Jill’s show besides her athletic prowess, Lisa talks about how she almost lost her life when she was hit by a car in 2006. Lisa was crossing the street when a car hit her at the speed of 45 – 50 miles an hour and flung her in the air God knows how high. Lisa told Jill on the show that she could almost feel an out-of-body experience. What’s really horrifying is that it happened in front of Lisa’s mother and sister.

When I heard Lisa tell me this story my heart almost burst out of my chest because being a parent that loves their children like I do I couldn’t imagine what Lisa’s mother was going through.

Lisa comes from an incredibly loving family so I’m sure that to this day they are still feeling that pain.
I consider Lisa one of the strongest and one of the most courageous people I know. I have two sons who are police officers in New York who have gone through shootings etc and I have to say that Lisa from the standpoint of heart and soul is in that category.

Lisa said that after that accident and the fact that she was given a second chance at life that nothing mattered more in her life than her incredible family and the love that they have for each other.

When you hear Lisa’s story you understand why this woman is a true dynamo… not just in the business of sports and entertainment but in the universal beauty of life!

Compliments to Jill Martin for giving us a terrific show about a strong woman who didn’t consider giving up.
