Artist of the Month for August 2022

Bio

This Staten Island-born singer-songwriter and music producer Louis Attilio Vigorito, known as Louyah, has swept the world with his amazing music, starting with his hit single “I Used to Care.” Raised in South New Jersey, Loyah started his music journey as a vocalist and guitarist in the metal bands Premonition and Idle Minds. After six years as a band member, he launched his solo career. Instead of performing in one genre, Louyah makes music with electric, pop, rock, rap, and R&B elements.

Louyah writes a lot of music, working with his friends in the recording studio as the co-founder of Loud Era Records with his brother John Vigorito. Louyah’s first album 6 FEET was created during the pandemic, and following its release, 6 FEET peaked at number 2 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts in 2021.

Louyah quickly became a viral sensation. In addition to his album hitting number 2 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts, his song “I Used to Care” went number 1 globally on Spotify Viral charts, reached number 34 on the Alternative Rock Billboard chart, and was in the top 10 on the Digital Downloads Billboard chart.

As he’s made more music, his song “You” has become a viral sensation on TikTok and Instagram where the song has famously been paired with a collage of wedding photos. Watch this amazing artist rise to the top of the charts as he continues to make inspiring music.
