Megan Thee Stallion Will Be Making Her MCU Debut as She-Hulk

On Monday, it was revealed through Megan Thee Stallion’s Cut profile that she is going to be making her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.” The 27-year-old sensation has landed roles in both the new Disney+ series and the A24 musical comedy “F— Identical Twins.”

“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” directed by Jessica Gao, stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner (a.k.a. the Hulk), who gains the ability to transform into a green giant after being exposed to Banner’s radioactive blood. Megan Thee Stallion’s role in the show, which also stars Jameela Jamil, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Benedict Wong, Charlie Cox, and others, was not revealed by The Cut.

Megan has previously appeared as a guest star on the NBC crime drama “Good Girls” and the Starz drama “P-Valley.” The Grammy winner revealed to the Cut that she auditioned for the lead role of Mercedes (Brandee Evans) in “P-Valley,” a film about dancers at a fictional Mississippi strip club. However, after she saw Brandee play Mercedes, she thought she was perfect for the role.

After seeing her talent in “P-Valley,” Katori Hall invited Megan Thee Stallion to appear in a 2022 episode of her show “Tina Snow” as her alter ego.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Marvel casting arrives less than a month after the release of her sophomore studio album, “Traumazine,” which explores the recording artist’s painful emotions and events.

“My alter egos have been people that I had to be at those times to be like my armor, like my shield,” Megan Thee Stallion told the Cut.

“I had to be Hot-Girl Meg at that time. I had to be Tina Snow at that time. I had to be Megan Thee Stallion at that time … I love this album because I feel like it’s just me talking. It’s just Megan. It’s not me having to be anybody else.”
