“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” features a star-studded performance lineup this year.
Ryan Seacrest will lead the countdown to midnight from Times Square, his 19th and final year as host with Rita Ora and Jeannie Mai set to take over for 2024.
Mai will also host the Los Angeles satellite party, where the performances in question will converge Some highlights of the roster includes Aqua with their timely hit “Barbie Girl”, Grammy album of the year nominee Janelle Monáe, pop-punk band Green Day, and rising post-Disney R&B singer Coco Jones.
Doechii, Ellie Goulding, Loud Luxury x Two Friends Feat. Bebe Rexha, Ludacris, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Paul Russell, Reneé Rapp and Thirty Seconds to Mars will also take the stage, according to a press release.
A Spanish language countdown will be hosted by Dayanara Torres from San Juan’s Puerto Rico Convention Center, with “Queen of Reggaeton” Ivy Queen performing there. Post Malone will also participate from Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and K-Pop group NewJeans will perform from South Korea.
Seacrest originally took over “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” from Dick Clark in 2006. Last year’s program – hosted from California’s Disneyland Resort alongside Times Square, Los Angeles and New Orleans – hit 13.8 million viewers, with performances by Aly & AJ, Ben Platt, Halle Bailey and numerous others.
This year’s event will air at 8 p.m. EST, and can be viewed from ABC, ABC.com or Hulu.
