With the wrap-up of New York Fashion Week, this year’s showcase has been the most buzzworthy in years. It included elaborate stages, coveted collections, and decked-out front rows.
Celebrities went all out this season, on and off stage. Janet Jackson and Issa Rae both wore Off-White for Harlem’s Fashion Row show. Korean superstar Jeno (of NCT Dream), Peter Do, donned head-to-toe black at Vogue World. The Kardashian-Jenner family was out and about all week as well. Kim was clad in full-on sparkles, and Kourtney was in her usual pop-punk outfits. Doja Cat was even spotted wearing bolder styles than she usually does. On the last day, Micheal Kors held his runway show in the presence of many A-List celebrities attending. Anne Hathaway came clad in a brown croc jacket and high ponytail, while Twice’s Dahyun was seen donning a glittery black dress with black heels.
Here are some of my personal favorites from this year’s shows:
Michael Kors Collection
At the Michael Kors Collection show, singer and actress Keke Palmer stood out with a bright yellow ribbed maxi dress and a bright yellow oversized blazer. Vanessa Hudgens looked classy in a charcoal jumpsuit complete with a thick waist belt, black heels, long charcoal coat, and carried a small gray purse. Anne Hatheway donned a brown croc jacket, a black turtleneck, and black heels.
Carolina Herrera Collection
At the Carolina Herrera show, singer Sabrina Carpenter came wearing an elegant off-the-shoulder midi dress with a unique cherry pattern covering the dress and open-toed black heels. Symone appeared clad in pink plaid from head to toe! She wore a pink and white plaid frilly top with a matching mini skirt and purse. She completed the look with hot pink heels. Singer Becky G also rocked this show with a black floral mini dress that included a striking neckpiece and strappy black heels.
This year’s New York Fashion Week included many elegant, unique, and bold looks, making it a successful and interesting event for fashion lovers to enjoy everywhere!
