The 64th annual Grammys is a night to celebrate music, with memorable performances, big names, and well-deserved awards. However, both attendees and fans look forward to the fashion, who is wearing who, and the best and the worst looks of the night. This year we saw lots of bright colors especially pink, the classic black looks, and even a vintage Versace dress. Below are some of the most memorable from the 2022 Grammys.
Model and wife of John Legend, Crissy Teigen, arrived in a “belle of the ball” bright pink Nicole + Felicia Couture gown. The strapless gown featured a dramatically ruffled strapless top half, a highly cinched waist, and a puffy, ruffled bottom layer. A true barbie moment, long train and all, Teigen enjoyed the Grammys and a moving performance from her husband later that night.

Among other Pretty in Pink moments, host and comedian Trevor Noah, sported a light pastel pink suit jacket. Paired with black pants, a white shirt, and black bow tie, the look was elegant and noticeable. GQ reports that the six-button, wide peaked self-facing lapel jacket is by Gucci.

While the singer/songwriter Doja Cat did not wear pink, she certainly turned heads with an equally unique color, and style. The star wore an aqua gown, sheer, completely sequenced, and layered over a strapless bodysuit of the same color. The top layer included two straps, which Doja wore draped on one shoulder and not the other. She paired the Atelier Versace gown with a glass, ombre blue and clear purse. The contents of the purse: candy. She completed the look with a spikey half up half down hairstyle, all of it in combination bringing us back to the early 2000’s.

Paris Hilton also went for a sheer, “nearly naked” look covered in a silver crystal design. The dress was paired with a cape, both this and the dress heavily beaded with metallic silver at the top, becoming more sheer towards her feet. She added beaded fingerless gloves, pointed toe stilettos, and a high ponytail. The timelessly glamourous heiress wore two different artists to the event, the dress by Peter Dundas, and cape by Atelier Zuhra.

Dua Lipa, who has made quite the name for herself in terms of music as well as fashion, went the vintage route this year. She paired the vintage black Versace bondage gown with heavy gold jewelry, matching the gold accents of the dress. With long and straight platinum blond hair and a dark red lip, Lipa brought everyone back to the 90’s. The dress was originally worn by Cindy Crawford, and Lipa added just enough modern twists to embrace the perfect balance of nostalgia.

While Billie Eilish walked the red carpet in a large, drapey black gown and sunglasses, perhaps a more notable look from her came during the show. In a tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins, Eilish wore a t-shirt with his image on the front throughout the show and during her performance. Hawkins, drummer for the iconic American rock band Foo Fighters, passed away at age 50 just over a week ago.
