1. The Richmond County Fair

The Richmond County Fair is a three-day festival from September 5th to September 7th, 2026, 12- 8 p.m. each day. Since 1980, the Historic Richmond Town organization has been hosting a “people’s gala” to educate the people and showcase the history of Richmond County. The country fair will have a variety of food vendors and attractions for all to enjoy, such as concerts, rides, food, and historical buildings from the 1800s to explore. Located at Historic Richmond Town at 441 Clarke Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10306, this fair garners around 15000 visitors every year.

2. The Feast of San Gennaro

The Feast of San Gennaro, run by Figli di San Gennaro, Inc., is an Italian American feast that takes place across multiple street blocks located at and around 109 Mulberry St, Little Italy, New York, NY 10013. Many will gather to enjoy the Feast’s 100th anniversary this year with pasta, seafood, pastries, and a variety of Italian American cuisine for all, accompanied by live performances, parades, and karaoke. 

3. Brooklyn Book Festival

The Brooklyn Book Festival aims to celebrate books and foster a community around said books, connecting diverse readers and authors in their shared interest in literature. Taking place from September 20th to September 27th, 2026, at Brooklyn Borough Hall (209 Joralemon St.) There are readings, panels, workshops, performances, book signings, and art projects for every age group.

4. NYC Broadway Week

NYC Broadway Week is a biannual promotion from September 8 through September 20, 2026 offering 2-for-1 discounts on tickets to select Broadway shows run by New York City Tourism + Conventions including A total of 25 shows are participating in fall 2026 Broadway Week including Wicked, The Lion King, Hadestown, MJ The Musical, The Book of Mormon, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow

5. NYC Bus Festival

The NYC Bus Festival is a free one-day festival hosted by New York Transit Museum and MTA New York City Transit. Everyone can go see the inside of vintage NYC buses and see how they’ve evolved throughout history, taking place on September 19th, 2026, from 10 am to 3:30 pm at the Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn.’
