Valli & Volpe, Two Jersey Boys wow Tampa Bay

What a great time we just had in Tampa bay this weekend.

Two wonderful talents from New Jersey and the world of entertainment and sports wowed their audiences.

Newark’s own true legend and Rock and roll hall of Famer Frankie Valli had his annual Ruth Eckerd Hall love in at Clearwater. As usual, he brought the crowd to its feet on numerous times during the show. Among his special guests in the crowd were Michael and Anthony Volpe, the father and grandfather of the New York Yankees’ number one prospect and shortstop Anthony Volpe ll from Watchung New Jersey.

After the show, the Volpe’s met with Frankie and talked about anything and everything under the sun. Frankie could not of been nicer and the Volpe’s told Frankie that that event was one of the greatest days of their lives. Frankie was truly humbled and grateful for the nice words from these two men.

The next day the Volpe’s went to Dunedin Stadium to see young Anthony make his debut starting in a Major League game for the Yankees versus the Toronto Blue Jays.

This Young Jersey boy went on to go 2 for 4 a double and two stolen bases and two runs scored. He was also flawless on the field.

To see two Jersey Boys from two different entertainment fields do some spectacular things in their fields was just beautiful. Especially when the younger Jersey boy got to do it in front of his daddy and Grandpa.

Frankie Valli is as big as it gets in the music world. If young Anthony Volpe can achieve just a third of what Frankie has accomplished then the Yankees are going to be ok for a long time.
