Which SPF is right for you?

Sun Protection Factor (SPF) is a critical step in your skin care routine and instrumental in keeping a healthy and glowing complexation that looks flawless now and for years to come. However, for something that is recommended to be worn every single day, many of them aren’t comfortable to wear layered with makeup or aren’t sufficiently protective.

Most dermatologists recommend at least SPF 30 to be worn to protect against harmful rays as it protects against 97% of UVB rays and SPF 50 protects against 98%, while SPF 15 clocks in at a measly 93%. UVB and UVA rays can cause long-term skin damage like wrinkles and sunspots, not to mention skin cancer. The wrong sunscreen can make your face look greasy or pale, or cause breakouts and skin problems.

To help you pick the right one, here’s a list of some of the most highly recommended sunscreens out there.
