The Government’s Claim That the Epstein Jail Video Has No Missing Minute

With rising criticism and unrest over Trump and by extension the Government’s handling of the Epstein case, especially with the suspicions over the missing minute from the video of Epstein’s cell that was released earlier this month. However, the Government has stepped forward and claimed that there is no minute missing from the footage.

According to CBS News, Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that “There was a minute that was off that counter and what we learned from [the] Bureau of Prisons was every year, every night, they redo that video” and that the equipment was “from like 1999, so every night is reset, so every night should have that same missing minute.” However, a function such as this would be highly unusual as CBS states “Experts in surveillance video, including video forensic professionals, told CBS News that a nightly reset would have been unusual and was not something they encountered in most video systems.”

Whether this is true or not, it still goes against the Government’s statement that this was raw unedited footage of Epstein’s cell during the night of his death and raises several concerning flags of something far sinister occurring. CBS also stated that “A government source familiar with the investigation says the FBI, the Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice inspector general are all in possession of a copy of the video that does not cut from just before 11:59 p.m. to midnight of the night Epstein died” and that “the metadata showed that the video was in fact two separate videos stitched together. It was also slightly sped up, so the video covering 11 hours runs approximately 10 hours and 53 minutes in length.”

There is plenty of evidence to suggest that Government officials may be attempting to hide something related to Epstein’s suicide. The claim that the minute is missing due to an alleged reset without a doubt raises some eyebrows at what’s being presented as the truth.
