Unlimited Customization at Your Fingertips, Literally

Imagine being able to match your nails with your outfits on a day-to-day basis using an app on your phone. Sounds pretty crazy, right!? A new nail product releasing soon aims to bring press-on nail technology to the next level.

iPolish nails are digital press-on acrylic nails that can change colors with the press of a button. These nails were developed by engineers in the US Space Industry. Yep, these nails were literally created by rocket scientists!

The nails are expected to be available to the public by June 2026, but pre-orders are open on the product’s website. The kits currently come in two nail shapes: long sqouval and medium ballerina. But if they become successful, it wouldn’t surprise me to see more shapes and lengths added. The kit includes 24 snails in the standard sizes of 0-11, nail glue, top coat, and all the tools necessary for application.

The most important item in the kit is the “iPolish Magic Wand”. This is the tool that allows users to change the color of their nails. Once connected to the iPolish app, users simply insert the tip of their nails into the device, and the nail’s display changes colors before their eyes. The personalization doesn’t stop there. You can add additional embellishments such as glitter, rhinestones, stickers, and charms.

Now, it is important to note that you can not file or cut the nails, as that would damage the display. Additionally, they are more expensive than the press-on nails you would find at the drugstore, with a price tag of $95. However, you really only need to order the kit once, so the company offers 2-piece nail refills for $6.50, so about $35 for a complete set.

One of my biggest reservations about this product was whether it is safe to have electronics on your fingers, especially when it comes to water. While iPolish claims the nails are completely waterproof, I will definitely wait to see reviews from other users regarding the nail’s reaction with water.

While these nails may seem too good to be true, as someone who enjoys wearing press-on nails, I am extremely interested to see how they turn out.
