Taylor Jenkins Reid is a notable American author. Born in Maryland and raised in Massachusetts, Reid only developed an interest in literature during high school. Following her graduation from Emerson College, Reid’s career began as a casting assistant after she moved to Los Angeles.

Reid published her first novel, Forever, Interrupted, in July 2013, followed by After I Do in 2014, and One True Love in 2016. By 2026, Reid has published ten books, with her most well-known 2019 title being Daisy Jones & The Six, which had a 2023 television adaptation on Amazon Prime. Her other book, One True Love, had a film adaptation that same year.

Reid has won four Goodreads Choice Awards in Historical Fiction and one Book of the Month – Book of the Year award in 2019.
