There are some people who always vote Democrat and ones who vote Republican, but what about the ones who believe in both sides. For example, Pro Life but an ally or member of the LGBT+ community. Or not agreeing with weed being legal but thinks everyone’s life matters no matter your ethnicity or race.
In short, we need a third party that isn’t extreme on one side and believes in the stuff that really matters. There are too many Americans out there, including me, who feel that neither side agrees with enough to vote for them and that they rather not vote at all because it’s a huge decision and it chooses who is going to run the country for those next 4 years.
It would also make the votes a lot evener because it’ll take out the ones who believe in both sides but don’t know which one to pick. It’ll make hesitant voters, including myself, vote. It doesn’t even have to be just 3 parties it could be more like 5 or 6 just so it’s fairer and even for who believes in what things we vote for like gay marriage or trans bathrooms. I feel as though the country is too divided right now anyway.
It would be interesting if they let other countries vote, not necessarily count for real, but just to see what other, in countries that would not be rules for the candidate that is picked. I think other countries are doing better at this whole voting thing. Like sometimes it’s simply as inheritance and they don’t even need to vote.
Either way I think that having more than just two general parties would help future voting elections because it would give voters better ideas of who to choose from. Two is just not enough because all Americans are different. I don’t think that anyone believes in just one side. That would be very extreme. Dividing the country into two does not make America great again.
