Anais Oluwatoyin Estelle Marinho, also known as Arlo Parks, was born on August 9th 2000 is an English singer and songwriter. Her debut album, Collapsed in Sunbeams, was released in 2021 to critical acclaim and peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart.

She earned nominations for Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best British Female Solo Artist at the 2021 Brit Awards. Collapsed in Sunbeams won the 2021 Mercury Prize for Best Album. She made her solo debut when she released the song “Cola” through Beatnik Records in November 2018. By November 2019, the song had amassed over three million streams on Spotify.

Parks has performed as the 2022 opening act for Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Clario. On June 25th 2022 she performed a 53-minute set on The Park Stage at Glastonbury Festival. On January 13th, she announced her third studio album, Ambiguous Desires would released on April 3rd. She has named Elliot Smith, Sylvia Plath, Radiohead, and Joni Mitchell as her influences.
