Chester Charles Bennington was born on the 20th of March 1976 and was an American singer, songwriter, and lead vocalist of the rock band Linkin Park. He first gained prominence as a vocalist following the release of Linkin Park’s debut album, Hybrid Theory released in 2000. He continued as the band’s lead vocalist for their next six studio albums, from Meteora in 2003 to One More Light in 2017.

 

Bennington formed his own band, Dead by Sunrise, as a side project in 2005. He also appeared in films such as Crank in 2006, Crank: High Voltage in 2009, and Saw 3D in 2010. After his death on July 20th, 2017, he was placed at number 46 on the magazine Hit Parader’s list of “Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time..Several publications commented on the legacy he left behind after his death. 

 

Bennington appeared on Walking Dead, the lead single of turntablist Z-Trip’s debut album. In 2007, he was featured on Young Buck’s song “Slow Ya Roll.” Chester had a son with his relationship with Elka Brand, and then in 2005 he married Talinda Bentley and had three children, first in 2006, then twins in 2011.
