5. Lollapalooza: Chicago, Illinois

This infamous music festival is held in the heart of Chicago’s Grant Park. The festival was originally intended to be a traveling festival, but after several failed attempts, it finally succeeded as a music festival stationed in Chicago, Illinois, in 2005. 

4. Coachella: Indio, California 

There are not many better ways to enjoy the Southern Californian sun than spending a day at Coachella, a music festival where choosing the outfits is almost as much fun as the actual event. The first Coachella music festival happened in October 1999. 

3. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival: Manchester, Tennessee 

This incredible festival is held in Manchester, Tennessee’s 700-acre farm called Great Stage Park. This festival has been running since 2002 and is believed to be the continuation of Woodstock.

2. Sziget Festival: Budapest, Hungary

The Sziget Festival happens annually in Northern Budapest during August. This is one of the biggest music and cultural festivals in Europe. The festival is so large it takes up an entire island that is separated from the rest of the city.

This is an incredible techno music festival held in Vagator, Goa, India. It is also the most successful and widely attended music festival in the entire continent of Asia.
