Drake’s New Album – Hit or Miss?

On May 15, 2026, Drake, a famous Canadian rapper, officially launched 3 new albums:
Habibti, Iceman, and Maid of Honour, making his debut this year.

So I have listened to the majority of songs from each album, and it is safe to say I have
An understanding ranking of best to worst.

First place, I would give it to Habibti, which is primarily associated with R&B alternative
style music blending slow tempo and pop-rap like music. It’s more of Drake singing
rather than him just freestyling rapping. My top 3 songs from Habiti are Fortworth ft
Partynextdoor, High Five, and Gen 5.

Second, I would give Iceman, which is the one where he freestyles. This is a faster beat
and can really set a mood if you enjoy rap, which I do. It’s also the main album, and it
honestly lived up to the expectation. My top 3 from Iceman are Janice STFU, 2 Hard 4
The Radio and National Treasure.

Lastly, is Maid of Honour. Nothing with this album, it’s just not my style compared to the
previous two. This album consists of more club music, which is understood by the uppy
beat of this album. My top 3 from this album are Which One (feat. Central Cee), Q&A,
and Road Trips.

Overall, Drake’s latest releases were a hit and provide the perfect soundtrack for the
summer. The albums bring a lively energy that can elevate parties, gatherings, and
other events. In particular, Iceman and Habibti stand out as the strongest projects,
showcasing both Drake’s versatility and his ability to blend rap and melody effectively.
These albums deserve recognition for delivering quality music that appeals to a wide
range of listeners.
