Fairy Tale Forest Opening Weekend

From 10 am to 6 pm this Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and the 27th, as well as the following Monday (Memorial Day) from 10 to 5pm the Fairy Tale Forest in New Jersey will have its opening weekend! It is open weekends through June 21st, and will, be open Thursdays to Sundays through Labor Day.

School trips are welcome Wednesdays through Fridays in May, June, September, and October. Cape trips can be planned on Thursdays and Fridays from July 2nd to August 14th.

General Admission is $20 for kids ages 2-17, $22 for adults, and $21 for seniors over 65. Admission is paid at the gate, and parking is free on site and on Grove Street, across the street from the park.

It is located at Fairy Tale Forest on 140 Oak Ridge Road in Oak Ridge in New Jersey.

This enchanting park is inspired by classic Grimm’s Fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Nurture your inner child and foster imagination at this Nostalgic and Whimsical Escape. Partake in activities throughout the day, see interactive Storytime at the bluebird stage, meet and greets, and a village drum circle.

You can stroll the shaded park with more than 20 storybook cottages and statuary. Enjoy lunch from the Gnomes Next with outside picnic-style seating or even browse the Gift Shoppe.

From May 20th through May 25th, you can enjoy a free ride on the Homespun Merry-Go-Round, which looks like it came straight out of Mary Poppins. This ride is run on solar power and casts bubbles as it circles around.

June 20th – 21st at 1:00 and 3:00 on 20th and 12:30 and 2:00 pm on 21st, Barbara Gemma, a RYT yoga teacher and fitness trainer, will be a guest to present Fairy Tale Yoga. She will guide you on a 20-minute magical journey through the imaginary forest using mindful movement and creative expression.

On July 11th, there will be a Casual chess and book signing with Valerie Munro, who is the author of the Checkmate series. Come for casual chess throughout the day in a beautiful setting.

On July 25th, there will be a Christmas in July where you can cool off with fun activities. You may even meet Santa, who will be in surprise summer attire! There will also be special discounts offered in the gift shoppe and fun summer versions of your holiday favorites.
