Carolina Giraldo Navarro, better known as Karol G, is a Colombian reggaeton singer who is a best-selling, chart topping and Latin Grammy award winner. She is known for her mix of reggaeton, pop, and dance-oriented R&B. Karol G was born in Colombia, as most Latino she was exposed to music at a very young age by her father who has a musician. Influence by her love for music, she pursued a Bachelor’s in music at the University of Antioquia. In 2010 she participated in Colombia’s version of The X Factor, where she exposed her talent to the public for the first time. Two years later she made a duet with Colombian singer Reykon, which helped her professional career blow.
