Dominique Armani Jones, also known as rapper Lil Baby, was born on December 3, 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was raised by his mother and has two sisters. He rose to fame in the Rap and music industry in 2017 with his mixtape Perfect Timing. Lil Baby debuted album Harder Than Ever in  2018 was certified platinum, which included “Yes Indeed” with Drake which peaked at #6 on the billboard Hot 100.

Coming up Lil Baby faced legal trouble and that led him to not finish school and drop out. But he overcame that typical black man struggle and is currently one the hottest and most featured artist out right now. He has multiplied songs with features being played on the radio airways. He most recently put out a very political song with a strong message about the most popular topic of police brutality and racism. The song is pretty surprising to most because of the artist it is coming from.

“The Bigger Picture” is getting a lot of media attention and commentary because of the strong message Lil Baby is sending to the world. He has been victim to the same situations he’s rapping about throughout the song, which makes the song more meaningful. The video is also very political and controversial. Lil Baby debuted the video just 2 weeks ago on YouTube and has 38million views already. Lil Baby has been nominated for BET  Hip-Hop Awards and 2020 Grammy Awards and has won a BET Award last year in 2019. He is still on the rise and is one of rap and hip-hop hottest new artists at the moment.
