Bio

Nicholas Caradoc Hoult was born on Dec 7th 1989. He is an English actor. His filmography includes work in big-budget mainstream productions and starring roles in independent American and British films. As a child, he performed in local theater productions. He made his debut at the age of six in the 1996 film *Intimate Relations* and also appeared in several TV programs.

He played a role in *Clash of the Titans* in 2010, Beast in the 2011 superhero film *X-Men: First Class* (continuing that role throughout the series), played the main Zombie role in the movie *Warm Bodies*, and took supporting roles in *Mad Max: Fury Road*. In 2006, he was cast in the lead role of the television teenage drama Skins. The show was a success and ran for 7 seasons, only two of which Hoult appeared in. His performance was well received. Hoult was nominated for the Golden Nymph Award for Best Actor in a Drama series.

He was nominated for a number of awards, including Best Performance in a Feature Film – Leading Young Actor About a Boy at the 2003 Young Artist Awards, Rising Star Award at the 2010 BAFTA Awards, 4 Teen Choice Awards, 3 Critics’ Choice Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards, and much more.

In 2025, he was named a “Save the Children Ambassador. He visits after-school workshops in London and speaks to children about topics related to his role as Lex Luthor in Superman.
